BaltCham.CH is the network of the independent, member based bilateral Swiss Chambers of Commerce in the Baltic States that have the objective of furthering the economic and business relations between the Baltic States on one side and Switzerland and Liechtenstein on the other. The Chambers represent the interest of their members in their respective country. They may also be active in the areas of tourism, cultural and scientific exchange.
The Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Latvia (SCCL) and the Swiss Baltic Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania (SBCL) are both non-profit organizations established in 2005 and 2004 respectively in the form of an association (Verein). They have their respective offices in Riga, the capital of Latvia and Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania and are both members of BaltCham.CH.
Membership in the Chamber is open to all companies and persons having an interest in the economic or other relations between the Baltic States and Switzerland/Liechtenstein and who support the objectives of the Chambers. Further details are available in the Members section.
The mission of the Balt.Cham.CH Chambers is:
1. Promotion of the mutual business relations between the Baltic States and Switzerland/Liechtenstein.
Baltic enterprises and organizations are supported by the BaltCham.CH Chambers in their objectives and endeavors to enter and structure their presence in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. The Chambers provide economic and business related information on Switzerland and Liechtenstein to Baltic organizations and persons.
Swiss Liechtenstein enterprises are supported by the BaltCham.CH chambers in their objectives and endeavors to enter and structure their presence in the three Baltic States. The Chambers provide economic and business related information on the Baltic States to organizations and persons in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
The SCCL and the SBCL are the sole official partners of Osec in their respective country. The Chambers provide to Osec, its member and the Swiss exporting industry a range of services with the objective of fostering Swiss exports. Osec is a private organization with over 1300 members mostly Swiss exporting companies , the purpose of which is to promote abroad exports from Switzerland. In addition Osec under contract with the Swiss Ministry of Economy and the Swiss Foreign Ministry operates a network of 15 Business Hubs in the main export markets for the Swiss economy. In the other countries, such as the Baltic States, Osec has appointed the local Chamber of Commerce as its partner.
Other cooperation partners of the Balt.Cham: CH Chambers include, in addition to Osec, its Sister Chambers domiciled in Switzerland, the trade promotion organizations and Chambers of Commerce in the Baltic States as well as other organizations which share in the same objectives.
2. Representation of Swiss and Liechtenstein business interests in the Baltic States.
SCCL and SBCL are the representative of the Swiss and Liechtenstein business interests in Latvia and Lithuania, especially in front of Latvian and Lithuanian authorities and institutions. The two Chambers organize from time to time events for their members and other interested persons with economic or business topic of a general or specific interest.

The SCCL and SBCL work in all their activities in close cooperation and coordination with the Swiss Embassy in Riga and the Swiss Consulate General in Vilnius as well as with the Baltic diplomatic representations responsible for Switzerland.
